Welcome to our new colleagues joining from Essex

More than 90 new colleagues joined our trust this month after we were awarded the contract to deliver the Community and School-Aged Immunisation Service (CSAIS) across the East of England (EoE).

We already provide high-quality immunisation provision in schools and communities across Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Waveney, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK). From September, we will be providing this service across the whole of the East of England region.

In addition, we were awarded the contract to deliver the Spring Covid Programme across Essex, which is taking place until mid-June.

Our new colleagues, who joined us on 1 April and include the experienced Essex Covid Team, are working in six Essex bases new to HCT.

They have already begun working closely together with our existing CSAIS service, and were invited to a welcome week at venues close to their localities, with visits from members of our Executive Team.

The CSAIS plays a crucial role in delivering the UK's vaccination programmes to children and adults, including vaccines such as HPV, Meningitis ACWY, MMR, and RSV for pregnant women.
