Sarah Wren OBE is HCT’s new UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Breastfeeding Guardian
Sarah Wren, Chief Executive of Hertfordshire Health & Independent Living Support and a Non-Executive Director on HCT’s Board, is our senior advocate and spokesperson for the Baby Friendly Initiative. As well as seeking opportunities and identifying challenges in the service, Sarah’s role includes responsibility for promoting, protecting and supporting Baby Friendly standards, and ensuring compliance with the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes.
Sarah started her role with immense enthusiasm and interest, sharing our Infant Feeding Team’s aim to improve our breastfeeding rates in Hertfordshire. We look forward to working with her as we maintain and progress Baby Friendly standards.
